The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Hon. Dr. Aliyu Bello, earlier today attended the funeral prayer of the late Hajia Maryam (Umma) in Angwan Maina, Lafia.

The solemn occasion drew family members, friends, and sympathizers who gathered to pay their final respects to the deceased, a respected matriarch in the community.

Dr. Bello expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, offering prayers for the soul of Hajia Maryam to find eternal rest in Aljanatul Firdausi. He also prayed that Allah grants the family the strength and fortitude to bear what he described as an irreparable loss.

“The loss of a beloved mother leaves a void that words cannot fill, but may the Almighty comfort you and reward her with paradise,” he said.

The funeral was held in accordance with Islamic rites.
