……….. Sen. Wadada hints on plans to officially join APC soon, attends reception organize by Gov. Sule’s Special Adviser on ICT in Moro, Kokona LG.
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau has called on the people of Kokona LG and the State at large to continue to live in peace and unity with one another irrespective of their political, ethnic and religious differences for development to continue to thrive.
He also drummed for more support to the administration of Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed and for the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to get more stronger ahead of future elections.
The Speaker made the call at a reception organized by the Special Adviser to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) Hon. Danlami Lawal Moro in Moro, Kokona LGA today.
Dr. Jatau, who is the Chairman of the occasion emphasized on the importance of peace and unity to the progress and development of the locality and the State at large.
“Why I always preach peace is that without peace and unity, there will be no development” he said.
The Speaker appreciated the organiser of the occasion, saying the event would promote unity among the people of the area.
“People should not allow leadership to divide them. Leadership comes from God at an appropriate time” He said.
On the called by a group for the Speaker to contest for House of representatives representing Keffi/KaruKokona, the Speaker appreciated them for considering him worthy to represent them at the National Assembly.
“I’m overwhelmed by this call, it means whatever that I am doing people are watching me. It took me by surprise, however, it gladens my heart.
“I will answer this call in no distance time” the Speaker said.
The Speaker called on the people to continue to support the leadership of Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed and for more democratic dividends as well as support APC to be more united and stronger ahead of future elections.

appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for considering him worthy of the appointment and promised to contribute positively to the success of his administration and the party.
He appreciated the Speaker and all those, who graced the occasion and prayed God to grant them journey mercies to their destinations.
Earlier, A Group led by Mr Tanko Yamu has called on the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau to contest for House of Representatives seat come 2027.
The Group said the call became necessary considering the track records of the Speaker.
The Group also promised to print banner, T shirts, billboards, posters and purchase nomination form for the Speaker, for campaign when the time comes.
In a related development, the Chairman, All Progressive Congress(APC) in Nasarawa State, Dr Aliyu Bello, has called on politicians seeking for Governorship positions in the State to trade with caution in order not to allow their personal ambitions to affect the unity and stability of the party and the State.
The APC Chairman made the call while receiving decampees from PDP and other political parties to APC in Kokona LGA today.
Dr Bello called on the aspirants to seek for people’s mandates, saying leadership comes from God who gives power to whomever he wants through people’s mandates.
” Election is coming, destiny is greater than ambition, we are loyal to the leadership of the party, and waiting patiently to hear from the leader of the party, who is the Governor, Engr. A A Sule to give us direction”He said.
Also speaking, Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has cleared the air on his planned return to APC, saying that very soon he will return to APC in the State.
” I have left the party in 2023 due to some reasons but now I have concluded plans to return.
” I am one of the founding fathers of CPC and a member of PDP faction that formed coalition that gave birth to APC. Nobody is more APC than myself” He said.
” I’m hopeful of getting the ticket at the primary and wining the general election”
” Non of the aspirants poses my qualities they all came and met me as someone who has been struggling for the position of Governor” he added.
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Alhaji Danlami Maiwada said that they joined the party due to the good leadership style of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and his developmental strides across the state.
They assured of their readiness to work for the victory of the party in 2027 election and beyond.
