In a move generating widespread political discourse across Nasarawa State, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Wadada, who also holds the traditional titles of Sarkin Yakin Keffi and Magajin Dangin Lafia, communicated his decision in a letter dated September 2, 2025, addressed to the Chairman of the APC in Tudun Kofa Ward, Keffi Local Government Area.

In the letter, he stated that his return to the party followed careful consideration and reaffirmed his commitment to contributing meaningfully to the growth, development, and overall success of the APC.

Senator Wadada’s return is being viewed as a major political realignment in Nasarawa State. As Chairman of the Senate Public Accounts Committee, he holds a key legislative position and wields considerable influence both in the National Assembly and within Nasarawa state.
