
Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Governor of Nasarawa State, held a crucial meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the Aso Rock Villa on Wednesday. The meeting focused on advancing key developmental projects within Nasarawa State.
During the meeting, Governor Sule officially invited President Tinubu to commission the newly completed lithium processing plant in Endo, Nasarawa Local Government Area. The state-of-the-art facility, capable of processing 6,000 tons of lithium daily, marks a significant milestone in Nasarawa’s industrial growth. The President graciously accepted the invitation, underscoring his commitment to supporting economic diversification and industrialization in the region.
In addition to the lithium plant, Governor Sule discussed other critical development initiatives, including a request for enhanced federal support to expand the Jangwa/Agwatashi Rice Project. The project aims to boost agricultural productivity and improve food security within the state.
The meeting ended on a positive note with assurances from the Presidency to collaborate closely with Nasarawa State in realizing these developmental goals.
