The recent sensationalist headline “You Won’t Survive December Congress, Ex-IGP Adamu’s Loyalists Threaten To Remove Aliyu Bello As APC Chair” which appeared in Nasarawa Mirror today Monday, is nothing short of a desperate fabrication peddled by political profiteers who thrive on chaos, innuendo, and manufactured division.
Let it be clearly stated: Aliyu Bello remains the undisputed and legitimate Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa not by accident or by patronage, but by the overwhelming will of party members and stakeholders who recognize his dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the party’s ideals.
The shadowy insinuations of “Ex-IGP Adamu’s loyalists” plotting to unseat him are not only cowardly and baseless, but they are also a pathetic attempt to revive a long-expired political influence that no longer holds sway in the current dynamics of the APC. These so-called “loyalists” have no constitutional backing, no grassroots momentum, and no moral authority to challenge the outcome of a process they were neither competent enough to control nor credible enough to contest.
This is not 2021. The era of backdoor manipulation, threat-mongering, and political blackmail is over. The APC has moved forward and Aliyu Bello represents that progress. The December Congress, like every legitimate party event, will be conducted transparently and in line with the party’s constitution. No amount of noise from the fringes will derail it.
To those peddling discord through cowardly threats and media propaganda: your time is up. The APC is not a playground for expired godfathers or rented loyalists. It is a party of structure, principle, and law. And in that party, Aliyu Bello is not only surviving, he is thriving at all fronts.
