In a proud moment for the legal community and the people of Nasarawa State, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji was formally conferred with the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) marking a major milestone in his distinguished legal career.

Dr. Magaji, who holds a PhD in Law, has been a steadfast figure in the advancement of legal practice in Nigeria, earning widespread respect for his professionalism, integrity, and dedication to justice. His elevation to the SAN rank, the highest honor within the Nigerian legal profession is a recognition of his exceptional contributions to the legal field, both in advocacy and scholarship.

The celebration of his accomplishment was also significant for Nasarawa State, where Dr. Magaji has played a key role in advising and supporting government initiatives in his capacity as Secretary to the State Government.
The Executive Secretary of Nasarawa Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh was among those who witnessed the celebrations, commended his achievement, describing it as “a moment of pride for the entire Nasarawa state.”

On his part, the celebrant said: “This honour is not only for me, but for every young lawyer from humble beginnings who dreams of reaching the top of the profession,” Dr. Magaji said during the reception held at Governor’s in Abuja. He reaffirmed his commitment to justice, legal reform, and the mentoring of future legal minds in Nigeria.

His recognition as a SAN adds to his growing list of accomplishments and solidifies his legacy as one of Nasarawa’s most accomplished legal luminaries.
