In a heartfelt message released on the occasion, Senator Wadada commended the resilience, unity, and enduring spirit of Nigerians, acknowledging the country’s progress despite numerous challenges since gaining independence in 1960.

“Sixty-five years ago, our great nation took its destiny into its own hands. Since then, despite daunting challenges, we have remained one indivisible country with boundless potential,” Senator Wadada stated. “Our strength has always been drawn from our diversity, our faith in democracy, and our undying hope for a better tomorrow.”

Turning his focus to Nasarawa State, which clocks 29 years since its creation, the senator highlighted the remarkable strides the state has made in governance, infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, and youth development. He described the state as a “land of promise” blessed with both human and natural resources.

“The achievements we have recorded are testaments to the resilience and hard work of our people,” he said. “Yet, we know that there is still much more to be done to unlock the full potential of our state.”

Senator Wadada reaffirmed his commitment to transparent and accountable leadership that delivers tangible benefits to the people of Nasarawa West and the state at large.

“As your representative, I remain committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective representation that will bring dividends of democracy to our people,” he said.

Calling for renewed patriotism and national unity, Senator Wadada urged citizens to set aside divisive tendencies and work together for a more prosperous future.

“On this double celebration, I call on all citizens of Nasarawa and Nigeria at large to renew their faith in our democracy, shun divisive tendencies, and embrace peace and unity,” he appealed. “Our collective efforts will surely deliver a brighter future for generations yet unborn.”
