Senator Wadada Hosts Nasarawa LG Councilors, Urges Mobilization for Voter Registration

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, yesterday received the 15 elected councilors from Nasarawa Local Government Area at his residence in Keffi.

The courtesy visit, described as warm and purposeful, was aimed at expressing the councilors’ support for the Senator’s ongoing mission to improve the socio-political and economic landscape of Nasarawa State.

During the meeting, Senator Wadada commended the councilors for their commitment to grassroots governance and urged them to intensify efforts in mobilizing their constituents for the ongoing voter registration exercise.

“The power of change lies with the people, and voter registration is a critical first step in ensuring that every voice is heard,” he emphasized.

The Senator, widely referred to as “the People’s Senator,” expressed optimism about a strengthened partnership with the ward representatives. He stressed the importance of collaboration between elected officials at all levels to drive sustainable development across the state.

The councilors, in turn, pledged their continued support for Senator Wadada’s developmental agenda and promised to play active roles in voter education and mobilization in their various wards.
