In a landmark moment for Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu is set to lead a high-profile inspection of the long-awaited Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road project this Saturday, marking a major step toward the Nasarawa West infrastructural transformation.

The inspection tour, scheduled for 1:00 PM, will include Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State and the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi. This development follows months of relentless advocacy by Senator Wadada, who has been at the forefront of pushing for the commencement of the critical road project, which connects Nasarawa State to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and other parts of the North Central region.

Senator Wadada had earlier submitted a detailed appeal to the Presidency, emphasizing the economic and social importance of the Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road. His efforts, characterized by direct engagement with federal authorities and consistent follow-ups, are now yielding concrete results.

Speaking ahead of the inspection, Senator Wadada reaffirmed his commitment to delivering sustainable development to his constituents. “This project is not just about infrastructure it’s about opening up economic opportunities, easing movement, and improving the quality of life for our people,” he said.

The road, which is seen as a lifeline for trade and mobility between Nasarawa and the FCT and Eastern part of the country, has long been a priority for residents and businesses in the area. Its development is expected to significantly boost local commerce, reduce travel time, and enhance security across the corridor.

Citizens, community leaders, and stakeholders have been invited to witness the inspection, signaling the start of what many believe will be a transformative era for Nasarawa West.

The tour underscores a broader message of accountability and result-oriented governance. Senator Wadada’s hands-on approach and focus on impactful projects continue to build public trust and renew confidence in political leadership.

With the project now firmly on the federal government’s radar, expectations are high that work will commence without further delay, bringing long-overdue relief to the people of Nasarawa State.
