
Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Public Accounts Committee (SPAC), has expressed profound grief over the recent tragic attack on Nindama Community in Ninkoro Electoral Ward, Kokona Local Government Area. The violent incident resulted in the loss of several innocent lives, leaving the community in mourning.
In a heartfelt message, Senator Wadada underscored the importance of peace, stating, “People must live in peace, for as humans we are bound by one sacred truth that death is sacrosanct and unites us beyond all differences.”
To show solidarity and offer support, a delegation led by Professor Silas Gyar and Honourable Bello Ramalan, alongside other prominent members, visited the affected community on the Senator’s behalf. The team conveyed Senator Wadada’s deepest sympathies and assured the bereaved families of his unwavering support during this difficult time.
In a tangible gesture of compassion, Senator Wadada donated ₦2 million alongside food items to provide relief for the victims and their families.
Senator Wadada concluded his statement by calling on all residents to foster unity, remain vigilant, and work collectively towards lasting peace and security across Nasarawa West and the entire state.
