Senator Ahmad Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, paid a courtesy visit to prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Malam Sani Yahaya Jingir, at his residence in Jos, Plateau State, yesterday.
The visit took place shortly after the Jumma’at (Friday) prayer and was seen as a gesture of respect and solidarity between the senator and the respected cleric.
Details of their discussion were not made public, but sources close to both parties described the meeting as cordial and focused on issues of national unity, religious tolerance, and the importance of moral leadership in Nigeria.
Senator Wadada, a known advocate for youth empowerment and peaceful coexistence, praised Sheikh Jingir for his continuous efforts in promoting peace and religious harmony in the country.
