The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Nasarawa State, Hon. Dr. Aliyu Bello, has lauded the Member representing Wamba Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Ezekiel Manding (JP), for his commitment to grassroots development through an extensive empowerment initiative held in Wamba Local Government Area.

The event, which drew party faithful, community leaders, and hundreds of constituents, featured the distribution of several empowerment items aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting self-reliance among beneficiaries.

Items distributed included 50 motorcycles, 40 grinding machines, 40 sewing machines, as well as a Peugeot 307 car presented to the APC Chairman of Wamba LGA. In addition, ₦10 million was provided to support Hon. Manding’s campaign council.

Dr. Bello, who was the special guest at the event, commended Hon. Manding for his laudable and people-centered initiative, emphasizing that such gestures complement the government’s efforts in tackling unemployment and poverty at the grassroots.

He noted that the role of a legislator goes beyond making laws, as it also involves identifying and addressing the needs of the people through meaningful interventions. Dr. Bello said Hon. Manding had demonstrated leadership by taking practical steps to empower his constituents.

The APC Chairman congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to make judicious use of the items received to improve their economic conditions and contribute to community development.

Dr. Bello also reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to delivering dividends of democracy across Nasarawa State. He called on residents of Wamba LGA and the Akwanga Zone to continue supporting the administration of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, describing him as a leader with vision and a clear plan for the state’s progress.

In his remarks, Hon. Manding expressed gratitude to the party leadership and his constituents for their continuous support, pledging to sustain efforts toward improving the welfare of the people of Wamba.

The empowerment program was marked by jubilation, as beneficiaries and party members praised Hon. Manding’s initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that would significantly impact lives and foster economic growth in the constituency.

This empowerment like many empowerment programs underscores the growing emphasis among Nasarawa lawmakers on community development through direct support initiatives, a trend many see as complementing state-level governance efforts.
