APC Leaders In Lafia Hold Emergency Caucus Meeting, Reaffirm Support for Governor Sule

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lafia, Nasarawa State, convened an emergency caucus meeting on Wednesday to deliberate on the party’s unity and strategic direction ahead of future political engagements.

The meeting, which was presided over by the former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Barr. Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu (Wazirin Lafia), brought together key stakeholders and party leaders from across the area.

According to reports, discussions centered on strengthening internal cohesion within the party and reaffirming collective support for Governor Abdullahi Sule. Party members also deliberated on strategies to ensure a smooth succession plan and the selection of a viable governorship candidate who would continue the administration’s developmental agenda.

In his remarks, Barr. Ubandoma Aliyu emphasized the importance of unity, loyalty, and teamwork among party members, describing solidarity as the cornerstone of sustainable political success.

He urged members to put aside personal interests and work together in the “spirit of progress and development of Lafia,” adding that only a united APC can continue to deliver good governance and development to the people.

Participants at the meeting reportedly pledged their commitment to supporting Governor Sule’s leadership and ensuring the APC remains the dominant political force in Nasarawa State.

The caucus also resolved to maintain continuous engagement with the grassroots and promote inclusiveness as preparations intensify for upcoming political activities.
