Ibrahim Hamza Says PDP Has Reached “Point of No Return,” Mocks Nasarawa Chapter Over National Crisis

The turmoil shaking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has drawn renewed ridicule from Hon. Ibrahim Hamza of Nasarawa State, who says the party’s current condition reflects total political decay.

Hon. Hamza who is the Karfen Dawaki of Lafian Bare-Bari, reacting to the intensifying rivalry between Nyesom Wike’s camp and the bloc led by Governors Bala Mohammed and Seyi Makinde, asserted that the PDP is no longer functioning as a cohesive political platform. He maintained that the open hostilities among the party’s top figures demonstrate that the party has reached what he described as a point of no return.

He argued that the crisis at the national level has effectively paralyzed the Nasarawa State chapter, which he believes is now unable to chart a clear political direction. According to him, PDP stakeholders in the state are caught between conflicting national factions and are struggling to maintain relevance.

Hon. Hamza also maintained that the party’s internal fractures have made it incapable of presenting any serious electoral challenge going forward, insisting that the PDP in Nasarawa has been reduced to a shadow of itself.

He then noted however, that the PDP in Nasarawa state should forget 2027.
“It is an undeniably fact that with significant developments on all aspects of life recorded under Engr. Abdullahi Sule and with the development that has befallen the party, PDP should forget 2027” Hon. Hamza further added.
