Sarkin Yakin Keffi and Senator representing Nasarawa West, Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, has joined other prominent personalities at a Central Planning Committee (CPC) meeting in preparation for the 10th anniversary of His Royal Highness, Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, the Emir of Keffi.

The meeting which was held in Keffi and attended by prominent personalities was convened to review ongoing preparations for the milestone celebration. Among those in attendance were former Governor and elder statesman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu (Turakin Keffi); the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ibrahim Tanko (Santurakin Keffi); and several notable title holders and members of the Emirate Council.

Sen. Wadada’s participation underscored his longstanding loyalty to the Keffi Emirate and his commitment to initiatives that promote cultural preservation, unity, and development within the kingdom. During the session, the committee assessed progress reports from its various subcommittees and fine-tuned plans for key activities scheduled for the anniversary.

The forthcoming celebration is expected to be one of the most significant events in the Emirate’s recent history, marking a decade of visionary and transformative leadership under Emir Shehu Chindo Yamusa III. The Emir’s reign has been widely associated with peace, cultural rejuvenation, and community advancement across the Keffi.
