Senator Wadada Reiterates Dedication to Orphans Ahead of 2026 Keffi Polo Tournament

Founder of the Keffi Polo Ranch, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to partners and supporters who continue to contribute to the growth and humanitarian impact of the Keffi Polo Tournament. Speaking ahead of the 2026 edition scheduled for April/May next year, the senator praised the Nasarawa State Government, the Traditional Institution, colleagues in the National Assembly, and the people of Nasarawa State for their  support.

Senator Wadada highlighted that this collective encouragement has sustained the tournament’s reputation as a leading sporting and humanitarian event in Nigeria. He noted that the community’s commitment has been vital to expanding the reach and influence of the tournament’s signature charity initiative, Polo for Orphans.

Introduced over a decade ago, the initiative has become a defining feature of Sen. Wadada’s philanthropy. Each year, hundreds of orphans are treated as honored guests at the ranch and provided with essential materials and moments of joy. For many of the children, the event represents both inspiration and a renewed sense of belonging.

The senator reiterated that polo, for him, is more than a sport—it is a medium through which he channels compassion and uplifts vulnerable children. “As long as God gives me life,” he often says, “the orphans of Nasarawa State will always have a place in everything I do.”

With preparations underway and renewed expressions of gratitude, Senator Wadada affirmed that the 2026 Keffi Polo Tournament will continue to embody its longstanding message of hope, service, and community solidarity.
