Wadada Hails Senate President Akpabio @ 63, Commends His Leadership in 10th Assembly

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has congratulated the President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a statesman whose leadership has strengthened the nation’s democracy.

In a statement issued in Lafia today, Tuesday, Sen. Wadada praised Akpabio’s “outstanding record of service” and lauded his stewardship of the 10th National Assembly. He noted that the Senate, under Akpabio’s guidance, has delivered “landmark legislations, robust oversight activities, and numerous interventions” aimed at boosting governance and accelerating national development.

The lawmaker highlighted the Senate President’s commitment to legislative excellence, saying it has contributed immensely to the stability and progress of the upper chamber and the country at large.
