Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has congratulated the newly sworn-in Executive Council of the Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), describing their emergence as both a privilege and a solemn call to greater service to the Eggon people.
In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, the Senator praised the association for conducting a peaceful and credible leadership transition, noting that such orderly processes reflect the maturity and unity of the Eggon nation. He emphasized that strong and well-organised cultural institutions like the ECDA remain critical to preserving identity, strengthening social cohesion, and driving grassroots development.
Senator Wadada urged the new Executive Council to uphold the cherished values of the Eggon people—peace, tolerance, hard work, and collective responsibility—while discharging their duties.
