In a solemn display of empathy and solidarity, the Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Sen. Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, has paid a condolence visit to elder statesman and legal luminary, Barr. Danladi Halilu Evuluanza, OON, today, following the demise of his beloved sister, Hajiya Jamila Halilu Evuluanza.
The visit, which took place at the Evuluanza family residence, was marked by prayers and heartfelt reflections on the life and virtues of the deceased. Sen. Wadada expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Hajiya Jamila as a woman of strong faith, dignity, and compassion, whose life exemplified service to family and commitment to enduring moral values within society.
According to the Senator, although death is an inevitable reality of human existence, it leaves an especially painful void when it takes individuals known for their kindness, humility, and positive influence on others. He noted that the late Hajiya Jamila lived a fulfilled and purposeful life, one worthy of emulation by both young and old.
Sen. Wadada urged the Evuluanza family to take comfort in the impactful life she lived and the legacy of love, goodwill, and righteousness she left behind. He emphasized that such legacies outlive physical existence and continue to inspire generations.
While offering prayers, the Senator called on Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and bestow patience, strength, and fortitude upon Barr. Danladi Halilu Evuluanza and the entire family to bear the irreparable loss.
He further reassured the family of his continued prayers and support throughout the mourning period, stressing that the passing of Hajiya Jamila is not only a loss to the Evuluanza family but also to friends, associates, and all who came in contact with her noble character.
The condolence visit underscored Sen. Wadada’s commitment to standing with constituents in moments of grief, reinforcing the values of compassion, unity, and shared humanity in times of loss.
