As Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, marks his 66th birthday, tributes have continued to pour in from across the state and beyond, celebrating his leadership, reforms, and developmental strides. Among the prominent voices is the Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Sen. Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, who has described the governor as a visionary leader committed to repositioning Nasarawa State for sustainable growth.
In a goodwill message to commemorate the occasion, Sen. Wadada praised Governor Sule’s proactive governance style, noting that his administration has consistently aligned state policies with national development priorities. He specifically commended the governor for being the first to decisively key into the agricultural component of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to the senator, the cultivation, processing, and branding of NASACO Rice stand out as a landmark achievement of the Sule administration. The initiative, he said, has not only boosted food security but has also created jobs, empowered local farmers, and enhanced productivity across various communities in the state.
Sen. Wadada also highlighted the governor’s far-reaching reforms in the education sector, describing them as bold and transformative.
He noted that Governor Sule’s administration has rebranded primary education, upgraded learning infrastructure, and made history with the establishment of Africa’s first-ever Public Relations University—an achievement that has placed Nasarawa State on the global academic map.
On economic development and investment, the senator applauded the establishment of the One-Stop Investment Centre, which he said has simplified business processes, improved the ease of doing business, and attracted both local and foreign investors to the state. This initiative, he added, has strengthened Nasarawa’s economic competitiveness and reinforced confidence in the state as an investment destination.
Beyond infrastructure and economic growth, Sen. Wadada acknowledged Governor Sule’s commitment to peace and unity, noting that his leadership has fostered peaceful coexistence among the state’s diverse ethnic groups. This, he said, has provided a stable environment for development and social harmony.
The senator further described Governor Sule as a stabilizing force within the All Progressives Congress (APC), whose strategic vision and leadership continue to strengthen the party and promote inclusive governance.
Sen. Wadada concluded his tribute by wishing Governor Abdullahi Sule good health, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to Nasarawa State and the nation, as he continues to steer the state on the path of progress.
