Party politics is a noisy endeavours and will always remain so. When elections draw closer, the volume goes up, the rumours multiply, and every serious name becomes a target. That’s the terrain. And the real question is: Who gets lost in the noise and who doesn’t.
Senator Wadada clearly falls into the second group. He belongs to the group that doesn’t get lost on account of noise or provocation.
For anyone who has followed Nasarawa politics for more than a minute, one thing is obvious: Wadada is not a newcomer trying to find his footing. He didn’t arrive yesterday, and he didn’t build relevance through sudden headlines or borrowed popularity. His political journey has been long, visible, and rooted in consistent engagement with people across communities—across religion, ethnicity, age, and party lines.
Wadada’s standing isn’t fabricated. He earned it.
So when commentaries surface trying to dress his name in speculation or recycled allegations, it’s hard to take them seriously. Not because politics should be free of criticism, but because these narratives often lack facts. And when facts are missing, distractions are manufactured. The irony of it all is that all manufactured distractions rarely work.
Wadada’s style of politics has never been about shouting the loudest or responding to every provocation. If anything, restraint has been his signature.
While others chase rivalries or fight imaginary battles about tomorrow, he has largely stayed focused on the work and on maintaining relationships that matter. He understands a simple truth of politics: credibility takes years to build and seconds to destroy. That’s also why no any calculated plan could derail his 2027 ambition.
Experience has given him perspective. He knows what to ignore, what to confront, and what to leave to time. His faith-driven outlook, summed up in his constant reminder, “In God We Trust”. This isn’t just a slogan. It explains his calm under pressure and his refusal to be dragged into every controversy designed to provoke reaction.
The people Nasarawa too have grown wiser. People are no longer impressed by exaggerated claims or moral posturing without substance. They can tell when criticism is sincere and when it’s simply politics wearing a dramatic costume.
Nasarawa voters know Wadada’s record, his reach, and his consistency. That’s why any attempts to rewrite his story often will always fall flat.
What stands out today is Wadada is not a man on the defensive, but a man massively preparing for 2027. He is focused and grounded as well as undistracted.
Senator Wadada is playing the long game guided by faith, experience, and confidence in the people he serves.
In a season full of noise, that steady posture says more than any headline ever could. And as 2027 approaches, it’s becoming clearer that Wadada isn’t looking back or sideways. He’s looking ahead and nothing fabricated is likely going to knock him off that path.
