Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has joined the Rindre Nation and other stakeholders to celebrate the 10th Annual Sinsinbaki North-Central Carnival of Peace, Unity and Progress, held at the Sinsinbaki Playground in Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The colourful cultural festival showcased the rich heritage, traditions and values of the Rindre people alongside other communities across the North-Central region.
The event was sponsored by Hon. Jeremiah J. Umaru, Member of the House of Representatives representing Akwanga, Wamba and Nasarawa Eggon Federal Constituency.
In a message, Sen. Wadada commended the organisers, particularly the Sinsinbaki Youths Unity Forum, for sustaining the carnival over the past decade as a platform for promoting peaceful coexistence, cultural preservation and grassroots unity.
He described the carnival as a powerful symbol of harmony and collective progress, noting that culture remains a vital tool for strengthening bonds among diverse communities.
The senator also praised Hon. Jeremiah Umaru for his continued support for peace-building initiatives and youth-driven cultural activities, stressing that such efforts contribute significantly to stability, mutual understanding and development in Nasarawa State and the North-Central region.
Sen. Wadada urged young people to continue embracing unity, tolerance and dialogue, while reaffirming his commitment to initiatives that promote peace, cultural pride and inclusive development across the state.
The 10th anniversary edition of the Sinsinbaki Carnival attracted traditional rulers, cultural troupes, youths and dignitaries from within and outside Nasarawa State, further reaffirming the festival’s growing relevance as a unifying cultural event in the region.
