The only female lawmaker in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has reassured constituents of Nasarawa Central of improved representation and increased delivery of democratic dividends as she intensified grassroots engagement during the Christmas holidays.

Dr. Danyaro, who represents Nasarawa Central Constituency, visited several remote communities to interact with residents, assess their needs, and reaffirm her commitment to purposeful representation. The outreach took her to Kakan-Zaria community, Zabutu village, and Mai Kabulu village.

In Kakan-Zaria, the lawmaker attended a church service and a wedding ceremony, where special prayers were offered for her guidance, protection, and political success beyond 2027. She also inspected the ongoing construction of a classroom block in the community, part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure.

At Zabutu village, Dr. Danyaro was received at the palace of the village head, where a notable member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) publicly defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing her outstanding performance and effective representation as the reason for his decision.

The legislator also journeyed through difficult terrain to Mai Kabulu, one of the most remote areas in her constituency, to interface with residents. While there, she paid condolence visits to a community leader who recently lost his mother and joined the people in celebrating Christmas.
During the visits, Dr. Danyaro made cash donations and provided other forms of support, including contributions toward the construction of a clinic in Zabutu village and assistance for various community projects.

Addressing residents across the communities, Dr. Danyaro assured them of more democratic dividends and urged them to continue supporting her efforts as well as the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule. She emphasized the importance of sustained prayers and cooperation to ensure continued development across the constituency.

In all the communities visited, she received a warm reception from men, women, youths, and elders, who turned out in large numbers to welcome her, offer prayers, and pledge continued support for her leadership and future political aspirations beyond 2027.
