Sen. Wadada Condoles Bauchi State Over Death of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi

Bauchi State has continued to witness an outpouring of grief and reflection following the passing of renowned Islamic scholar and elder statesman, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
In a condolence visit to the Bauchi State Government, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu described the late Sheikh as a towering figure whose life was wholly dedicated to the service of Islam and humanity. According to the Senator, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi stood out as a symbol of peace, tolerance, and moral uprightness, values he consistently preached and lived by throughout his lifetime.
Senator Wadada noted that the influence of the late Islamic scholar went far beyond Bauchi State, cutting across the North and the country at large. Through his teachings and exemplary lifestyle, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, he said, shaped generations of followers, instilling in them discipline, moderation, and devotion to God.
“The late Sheikh was not just a religious leader but a moral compass for society,” the Senator remarked, adding that his legacy would continue to guide future generations.
The Senator extended his heartfelt condolences to the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Mallam Bala Mohammed, the immediate family of the deceased, and the entire Muslim Ummah. He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late scholar and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while also asking God to grant strength and comfort to the people of Bauchi State in this moment of profound loss.
