Member representing Nasarawa Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim has secured the release of two inmates serving punishments in Nasarawa Correctional Centre.

The two inmates are, Mustapha Abubakar from Ungwar Bai Nasarawa Town and Mrs Peace Musa from Tammah.

Dr. Danyaro, the Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development made this known during the celebration of her 54th birthday in her residence in GRA, Nasarawa LGA today.

The Only Female Lawmaker disclosed that the two inmates would be reunited with their families after the birthday.

“As you can see, the officials of the Nasarawa Correctional Centre are here with the inmates.

“I have paid their fines and secured their releases, they are now going to enjoy the air of freedom and reunite with their families and the society in general” she said.

Dr. Danyaro urged the inmates to be good ambassadors of their families and the society at large.

“I call on you to be good ambassadors of your families, Nasarawa Central, Nasarawa State and the society at large.

“Please don’t go back to what took you to this prison” she said.

The lawmaker appreciated God for his protection and guidance to her life and praying for more sound health and prosperity in the years ahead.

She also appreciated all those that celebrated her birthday and prayed God to bless them abundantly.

It would be reported that the inmates were accompanied to the birthday by officials of the Nasarawa Correctional Centre and their relations.
