RT. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, the Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has defected from the People’s Democratic Party PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

The Nasarawa State Number Two Lawmaker announced his defection during a thank you visit to His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State today Wednesday.

Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki is the member representing Doma North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

It was gathered that Hon. Oyanki may present his defection latter officially to the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly when the Lawmakers will be resuming from their recess next week.

It was also reported that he may also give reasons for his defection when his latter will be read at the floor of the House.
