Wadada Youth Support Group paid an unscheduled visit to respected elder statesman, Anthony N.Z. Sani, in his residence in Akwanga today Sunday.
The visit has given fresh momentum to youth mobilisation efforts ahead of Senator Ahmad Wadada Aliyu’s anticipated 2027 gubernatorial bid, underscoring the growing role of youths in shaping the state’s political future.
During the interaction, Sani offered strategic counsel to the youths, placing strong emphasis on understanding the financial dynamics of politics and the importance of responsible leadership. His guidance, participants said, has sharpened their focus on key governance principles, including economic empowerment, accountability, and transparency.
The mobilisation team, under the leadership of Muhammad Tukur, is positioning these values at the centre of its activities. According to the group, the aim is to drive positive change by encouraging informed political participation and promoting good governance across communities.
Inspired by Sani’s advice, the youths have intensified efforts to spread the message statewide, particularly among young people at the grassroots level. Community engagements and outreach programmes are expected to increase as the group works to build a broad and sustainable support base.
As preparations toward the 2027 elections gradually take shape, observers note that the growing involvement and organisation of youths could play a decisive role in shaping the political landscape and influencing the outcome of Senator Wadada’s governorship ambition.
