Former Governor of Nasarawa State and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has said that at this stage of his life he desires nothing more than to end his days in peace.
Adamu made the remark during the commissioning of a road project facilitated by the Senator representing Nasarawa West, Ahmed Wadada.
Speaking at the event, the former governor urged members of the public to pray for him to achieve his wish of concluding his life’s journey in faith and peace. He emphasized that his current priority is spiritual fulfillment rather than political ambition.
Adamu also called on the people of the area to always appreciate good deeds done for them. He noted that during his tenure as governor and later as senator, he undertook road construction projects for the benefit of the people.
On the issue of the All Progressives Congress governorship race in the state, Adamu stated that he would not endorse any single aspirant. According to him, supporting one candidate over others would amount to compromising his position as a leader. He stressed that all aspirants are his own and deserve equal treatment.
