Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has hailed the peaceful conduct of the Local Government Congress of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kokona LGA which was held today Saturday.

This, the Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen called on all those who will emerge at today’s exercise across the State to work hard for the victory of the party in 2027.

The Speaker Dr. Jatau stated this while addressing Newsmen shortly after the exercise in Garaku, Kokona LGA today Saturday.

Dr. Jatau appreciated all the critical stakeholders for their maturity and peaceful conduct during the Congress.

“Our officials at the local government level have emerged through concensus as we have abided by the party guidelines.

“The conduct of the exercise was peaceful, transparent and rancour free” he said.

The Speaker also called on other local government areas to emulate Kokona LGA in conduct of LG Congress for the unity, progress, and development of the party.

Besides, the Speaker while congratulating the new officials called on them and others that will emerge today across the State to work hard for the victory of the party beyond 2027.

Also Speaking, Hon. John Mamman, Commissioner for Education, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi, member representing Kokona East at the State Assembly and Hon. Agbawu Mek Agbawu, Chairman, Kokona LG among other stakeholders corroborated with the Speaker’s position.

They also disclosed that the local government executive members have emerged through concensus.

They commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the exercise in the area.
