The Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu Sani Wadada, on Tuesday commissioned the Wadada Like Minds office in Lafia, urging the people of Nasarawa State to remain peaceful and supportive of the current administration.
Speaking at the colourful ceremony attended by party faithful, community leaders and supporters, Senator Wadada said the office would serve as a hub for mobilization, consultation and the promotion of unity among his supporters across the state.
He called on his supporters to exchew all forms of political violence, emphasizing that peace remains the foundation for sustainable development. According to him, political differences should not degenerate into conflict, but rather inspire healthy dialogue and democratic participation.
“We must reject violence in all its forms and embrace peace for the progress of our dear state,” Wadada stated. “Our strength lies in our unity and collective resolve to build a better Nasarawa.”
The lawmaker also urged the people to continue supporting the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule, describing his leadership as focused and development-driven. He stressed that cooperation between elected officials and the executive arm of government was essential to attract more democratic dividends to the state.
Senator Wadada expressed profound appreciation to Alhaji Rayyanu Bala for donating the office complex, The office complex comprises both a ground floor and an upper floor. He described the gesture as a demonstration of loyalty and commitment to the ideals of the Wadada Like Minds movement. He also commended Alhaji Tijjani Abubakar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Suraj Oil, for furnishing the office to a befitting standard.
He noted that the contributions of the benefactors reflected the spirit of partnership and shared vision that defines the movement.
The senator emphasized that every supporter of Wadada is an integral part of the Wadada Like Minds family.
“All supporters of Wadada are part and parcel of Wadada Like Minds because they carry Wadada in their hearts and minds,” he said. “This movement belongs to all of us.”
The event featured goodwill messages from stakeholders and party leaders, who pledged their continued support for the senator and reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful political engagement in Nasarawa State.
