The Lesser Hajj also known as Umrah is a pilgrimage to the holy land of Saudi Arabia by Muslims across the globe for religion activities.
The religion exercise or obligation which usually last between a period of a week and above see believers visiting Madina and Mecca for the spiritual obligations respectively.
This particular visit by the prominent citizens of the State is very significant especially at this period of Ramadan and now that the State needs more prayers than ever before for more peace, unity and understanding ahead of the upcoming elections.
This also is important because Umrah or lesser hajj in the month of Ramadan has great importance, significant and extra blessings to the Muslim who performs it because it is believed that performing Umrah during the holy month of the Ramadan is equivalent to performing Hajj with the prophet Muhammad (SAW)
Often, many Muslims who have the means prefers to do lesser hajj in Ramadan to gain its absolute spiritual rewards and blessings.
