Nasarawa Speaker Felicitates Muslims on End of Ramadan, Urges Reflection and Prayers

As Muslims set to celebrate Sallah tomorrow Friday, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau Ph.D has felicitates with the Muslim communities on this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The Speaker congratulated Muslims for successfully completing the Ramadan fast and called for fervent prayers for the nation and the State’s sustain peace, unity and development as well as success of leaders at all levels.

A statement by Press Secretary to the Speaker Jibrin Gwamna quotes the Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau as calling on Muslims and other citizens of the State to use the period to pray fervently for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders at all levels to succeed on the task ahead of them.

Speaker Jatau underscored the significance of the festival which proceeded the month long Ramadan fast hence the need for the period to be used for sober reflections through love, understanding, selflessness and sacrifice for nation’s peace, unity and prosperity.

The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen urged believers to use the period to strengthen their relationship with God and fellow human beings especially the need for the well to do in the society to support the less privileged ones to give them sense of belonging.

Speaker Danladi Jatau while emphasizing the need for all to be law abiding citizens and remain committed to constituted authorities, wished all Muslims a successful sallah celebration.
