APC Announces North-Central Zonal Congress in Lafia

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled its North-Central Zonal Congress to hold in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.
According to an official notice released by the party, the meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House, Lafia. The congress is slated to begin promptly at 10 a.m.
The party outlined a broad list of delegates expected to attend the crucial zonal gathering. These include the Zonal Chairman, all past zonal chairmen, and members of the zonal executive committee. Also invited are serving and former principal officers of State Houses of Assembly from the North-Central zone who are members of the party.
Other expected participants include state party chairmen from the zone, as well as serving and past governors affiliated with the APC. The notice further extends invitations to current and former members of the National Assembly—both Senate and House of Representatives—who belong to the party.
Additionally, members of the APC National Executive Committee from the North-Central region, national caucus members, and all statutory delegates to the party’s national convention are expected to be in attendance.
The zonal congress is seen as a significant step in strengthening party structures and coordination across the North-Central region ahead of future political activities.
