Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has once again demonstrated his commitment to inclusive leadership by fulfilling his promise to persons living with disabilities in Nasarawa State, this time extending support to the Blind Association with the donation of a vehicle.
The presentation, which followed a robust meeting earlier held at the Keffi Polo Ranch, marks another milestone in the senator’s continued efforts to uplift vulnerable groups across the state. The gesture emphasizes Sen. Wadada’s longstanding relationship with disability communities and his resolve to improve their mobility and overall welfare.
Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the association, the Chairman of the Nasarawa State Blind Association, Mallam Adamu Danladi, expressed profound appreciation to Senator Wadada, describing him as “a leader with the heart to deliver.”
According to Mallam Adamu Danladi, the senator’s intervention did not come as a surprise, noting that his consistent support for the association spans several years.
“Senator Wadada has been with us for a long time. This is not the first, and certainly will not be the last. He has always identified with our challenges and taken concrete steps to address them,” he said.
He further offered prayers for the senator, asking Allah (SWT) to grant the aspirations of many people of Nasarawa State who desire to see him emerge as the next governor after the tenure of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule.
This gesture is expected to significantly ease transportation challenges faced by association members, enabling them to better coordinate their activities and enhance their participation in social and economic life.
