Aliyu Bello, the newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has continued to receive widespread recognition and support following his emergence as the party’s leader in the state.
In a show of solidarity and celebration, the Rimi Uku community organized a grand reception in his honour over the weekend. The event, attended by party faithful, community leaders, and well-wishers, highlighted Bello’s growing influence and the high expectations surrounding his leadership. Speakers at the occasion praised his commitment to party unity and grassroots mobilization, expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen the APC’s structure across Nasarawa State. Bello, in his remarks, thanked the community for the warm reception and reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive leadership and development-oriented politics.
Shortly after the reception, Bello made an appearance at the Kwandara Sallah Festival in Kwandara, where he joined residents in celebrating the festive season. The colourful event featured traditional displays, cultural performances, and community gatherings. Bello used the opportunity to connect with the people at the grassroots level, emphasizing the importance of cultural heritage and communal harmony. He urged citizens to continue fostering peace and unity, especially during festive periods.
In a more solemn engagement, the APC chairman also paid a condolence visit to Sunny Again following the passing of his father. Bello expressed deep sympathy on behalf of himself and his associates, describing the loss as painful and significant. He prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and encouraged the bereaved family to find strength during the difficult time.
