The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi A. Sule, on Saturday received the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Aliyu Bello, alongside members of the State Working Committee who paid him a traditional Sallah homage.
The visit, which took place at Gudi, was part of activities marking the Sallah celebrations, a period characterized by goodwill visits and exchanges among political leaders, stakeholders, and citizens.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Bello conveyed the party’s greetings to the governor and commended his administration’s efforts in governance and development across the state. He reaffirmed the loyalty and support of the party leadership and its members toward the policies and programs of the Sule-led administration.
In his response, Governor Sule expressed appreciation for the visit and the continued support of the party structure. He emphasized the importance of unity within the APC and called for sustained collaboration to ensure the delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Nasarawa State.
The Sallah homage reflects a long-standing tradition in Nigerian politics, where leaders and associates use festive periods to strengthen relationships and reaffirm shared goals.
