The Adogi community in Nasarawa State has showered encomiums on Aliyu Bello, describing him as “a man of the people, for the people, and by the people.”
The commendation was made during a grand civic reception organised in his honour today at Adogi, following his election as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State.
In his speech at the occasion, Dr Aliyu Bello expressed deep appreciation to the Emir of Adogi and the entire people of Adogi for their consistent political support. He noted that power is transient and emphasized the importance of faith and trust in God. He gave thanks to Allah for his emergence as chairman and also extended gratitude to the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, for his support.
Dr. Bello reaffirmed the party’s unity and loyalty to the governor, stating that the APC remains fully committed to achieving the administration’s goals. He also addressed the issue of zoning, stressing that it remains fair and balanced.
Also speaking at the event, the Sarkin Adogi, Alhaji Idris Ladan Omaku, commended Bello’s determination and steadfastness. He urged him to sustain his commitment to service and assured him of the community’s continued support for the government of Abdullahi Sule.
Several other speakers at the event extolled Dr Bello’s virtues, describing him as a reputable politician whose leadership qualities are worthy of emulation.
