Hon. Ibrahim Hamza Hails Gov. Sule’s Senate Bid, Blasts Critics, Celebrates His NIPR Honour

Hon. Ibrahim Hamza has praised the decision of Governor Abdullahi Sule to contest for the Nasarawa North senatorial seat, describing it as a courageous response to the wishes of the people.
Speaking on the development exclusively with Nasarawa Eye in Lafia today, Hon. Hamza who is the former scribe of PDP in Nasarawa state, said Governor Sule’s acceptance of calls from constituents demonstrates strong leadership and a commitment to democratic principles. According to him, the governor’s willingness to heed the voice of the people reflects one of the most important qualities of effective governance.
Hon. Hamza who defected to APC early last year, dismissed criticisms from some quarters suggesting that Gov. Sule’s decision contradicts an earlier stance not to seek the Senate seat. Hon. Hamza who is the Karfen Dawakin Lafia Bere Bari argued that responding to popular demand should not be interpreted as a betrayal, but rather as a responsible and people-oriented action.
“It is important for leaders to remain flexible and attentive to the aspirations of those they serve,” he said, emphasizing that public office holders must prioritize collective interest over personal positions.
In a related development, Hamza also congratulated Sule on his investiture as a patron of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He described the recognition as prestigious and well-deserved, noting that it reflects the governor’s dedication to public service and effective communication.
Hamza’s commendation adds to growing support for Governor Sule as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the next general elections.
