Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu Donates ₦8 Million, Food Relief to Udege Clash Victims
Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has provided humanitarian assistance worth millions of naira to communities affected by the recent communal clash in Udege, offering relief to families struggling in the aftermath of the crisis.
The intervention, which targeted members of the Afo and Fulani communities, included a cash donation of ₦8 million alongside 600 bags of rice. The support is aimed at cushioning the hardship faced by displaced persons and other vulnerable residents who have suffered losses due to the conflict.
Many affected individuals are currently dealing with disrupted livelihoods and limited access to basic necessities, making the Senator’s gesture a timely response to urgent humanitarian needs.
The items were presented on behalf of the Senator by the Director General of his campaign council, Bello Ramalan, who led a delegation of council members during the distribution exercise.
Speaking at the event, the representatives reiterated Senator Wadada’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents. They also stressed the need for unity, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence among the affected communities as efforts continue to restore normalcy.
The outreach forms part of broader initiatives to provide immediate relief, rebuild trust, and foster lasting peace in Udege and surrounding areas.
