The Sen. Wadada Youth Ambassadors in Nasarawa State have clarified the purpose of their forthcoming rally, stating that it is a strictly internal solidarity march and not part of any broader political campaign structure.
The group explained that the event is exclusively organized for its members across the state and is intended to peacefully express their collective position within the political space ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
According to the Lafia Local Government Area Coordinator of the group, Prince Adeka, the rally should not be mistaken for an official campaign activity of the All Progressives Congress (All Progressives Congress) or the wider Wadada political structure.
He emphasized that the initiative is independent and focused on sending a clear message of solidarity to party leadership and stakeholders regarding their preferred aspirant, Sen. Wadada.
The group further clarified that the planned march is intended to respectfully urge party decision-makers to consider Sen. Wadada as a leading contender for the APC governorship ticket in Nasarawa State in 2027, describing him as widely accepted among members and capable of delivering good governance.
They stressed that the gathering will be peaceful and aimed solely at promoting internal advocacy within the party, while also reinforcing their commitment to development and political stability in the state.
