NSHA Commends Gov Sule On Ongoing Construction Of Flyover, Underpass In Lafia, Says Lawmakers Fully In Support

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Urban Development has commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for constructing flyover and underpass in Lafia the State capital among other laudable projects across the State.

This, the committee said the entire House is happy and in support of the flyover project considering its impact if finally completed.

Hon Musa Saidu Gude, the Chairman of the committee gave the commendation when the Management of the State Urban Development Board (NUDB) appeared before the committee on 2024 budget performance today in Lafia.

Hon. Gude, the Deputy Minority Whip of the House said that the committee would give the Governor and the board full support to succeed in ensuring urban development in the State.

” We will continue to work together in order to ensure urban development in the state,” he said.

The committee chairman commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his infrastructural development across the State.

” We are Happy with what His Excellency is doing in the State, he is performing well

” We want to commend the Governor for the construction of flyover and underpass in Lafia, dualization of Akwanga road among other Impactful projects,” he added.

Hon. Saidu assured of their continuous support to NUDB to succeed.

Earlier, Engr. Mohammed Wada Yahaya, the Managing Director of NUDB appreciated the committee for it support to the board and called for its sustenance.

” I also want to thank His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule for funding the activities of the board,” he said.

The managing director enumerated some of the ongoing projects of the board to include flyover and underpass in Lafia, dualization of Akwanga road, construction of two span bridge in Koruduma, Karu LGA, construction of Kari-Kari Ado Kasa road, among others.

He assured of the board’s continous commitment to initiate more good policies and programmes that would bring speedy development to the State.
