The Governor of Nasarawa State Abdullahi A. Sule has urged traditional rulers in Nasarawa state not to relent in preaching to their Subjects, Significance of peaceful coexistence in the interest of Nasarawa state. Gov. Sule who gave the admonishment while receiving delegation of traditional rulers on sallah homage, led by the Emir of Lafia also advised citizens of the State to shun all forms of violence and coexist peacefully with with one another irrespective of ethnic and religious differences.

While describing traditional rulers as the custodians of peace, Gov. Sule thanked them for their support before, during and after the last general elections, and appealed to them to continue supporting and praying for his government to succeed.

Earlier the Emir of Lafia, HRH Justice Dauda Sidi Bage I said, their visit was to congratulate him on the occasion of Eid- el – Fitr and to assure him of their unflinching support to his administration.
