NSG Assures Of Robust Security Architecture In The State

Nasarawa state government under Engineer Abdullahi A Sule has assured that it will do everything possible to endure protection of lives and properties of the people of the state through implementation of robust security architecture in the state. In statement issued by Director General Strategic Communication and Press Affairs to the Governor, Mallam Yakubu Lamai indicated that towards this end, Engr Abdullahi Sule has summoned an Emergency Security Council meeting to hold at Government House today Wednesday by 9am. According to the statement, the essence of the meeting is to reappraise the extensive security template of Nasarawa State given the unfortunate robbery operation which took place around Akwanga axis yesterday. The statement said: ‘This is in line with His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s avowed commitment to mobilize, improve and reinvigorate the robust security architecture already in place in Nasarawa State’. While assuring the public that government is on top of the security situations in the state, the statement also noted that Governor Abdullahi A Sule is unwavering in its determination to provide proactive and dynamic approach to all security challenges in the state. ‘Government is determined to squarely face and quash any security challenges which may arise to cause anxiety or threaten the wellbeing of the entire people of Nasarawa State’ the statement added. While inviting all members of the press to record the opening remarks at the today’s Emergency security meeting after which a concise statement will be issued accordingly, the statement also solicited for the support of the citizenry to ensure smooth governance of the state by Engr Abdullahi A Sule
