59th Independence: There Is Hope For Better Nigeria- Speaker Nasarawa State Assembly

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast as there is hope for a better nation.

Balarabe Abdullahi stated this in Lafia on Monday while speaking with newsmen on Nigeria at 59 and Nasarawa State at 23.

He called on Nigerians to continue to pray and support president Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders to succeed in the task ahead of them.

“There is no doubt that President Muhammadu Buhari is a man of integrity who have the passion of the nation at heart.

“And he is doing his possible best for a prosperous Nigeria and all we need is to pray and support him so that we will enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he said.

The speaker, who emphasized that challenges are part of human existence and Nigeria cannot be exception noted that the country’s challenges can be overcomed.

He added that efforts of the country’s heroes past shall never go in vain.

” I want to urge all of us to renew our believes and commitments for a better nation, hope for our father land and remain optimistic about its brighter future,”he said .

On Nasarawa at 23, the state number three citizen felicitated with the people of the state and commended the efforts of the past governors in building the state while urging all to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.

“We in Nasarawa as a state, 23 years has gone by and no doubt we are growing gradually, we thank God for giving us Gov. Abdullahi Sule who have the passion and intereest of the state at heart.

“And he has started on a brighter mood so far and all we need is to pray and give him the maximum support to succeed,” the speaker said.

Balarabe Abdullahi reassured of the assembly’s readiness to partner with the executive arm of government to bring the much needed development to the state.

The speaker used the medium to enjoin the people of the state and Nigerians to live in peace ,be law abding, respect constituted authorities and tolerate one another for development to thrive in the state and the country at large
