Nasarawa Education Comm Pledges Involvement Of Stakeholders

The State Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Haj. Fati Jameta Sabo has pledged collaboration with critical stakeholders to build the capacity of staff of the ministry for effective service delivery.

Haj. Fati Jameta Sabo made the pledge Wednesday after receiving the reigns of authority from the Permanent Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Agwai in her office in Lafia.

Appreciating the management and staff of the ministry of Education, Science and Technology, for the warm reception accorded her since inauguration, the State Commissioner, Haj. Fati Jameta Sabo said her doors are widely open for stakeholders to make viable contributions towards the actualisation of government blue print for the education sector.

According to her, the vision of Governor Abdullahi Sule for education is tailored towards improving standard in all citadel of learning to conform with modern best practices, and ensure inclusiveness of school age children especially in vocational education.

The feat, the commissioner believed can only be achieved through effective monitoring and evaluation by the various heads of departments of the ministry, hence she called for a formidable team work to guarantee sustainable growth.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Abdullahi Aliyu Agwai aside assuring the commissioner of staff determination to support her in the task of governance, he equally urged the commissioner to bring her wealth of experience to bare to propel development.

Highpoint of the event was the hand over of the ministry’s official documents to the State Commissioner of Education Haj. Fati Jameta Sabo by the PS, Abdullahi Aliyu Agwai.
