The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Nasarawa state Council has pledged it commitments to sustain the cordial working relationship already established by the immediate past Chairman of the council who was recently appointed Commissioner of Information Culture and Tourism in the state.
The Acting Chairman of the Council Mrs. Juliana Ose Ofoku made this commitment known today when she led members of the State Executive Council of the Union on a courtesy visit the Chief Medical Director of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH).
Mrs. Ofoku who commended the CMD for his developmental stride to change the face of the Hospital for optimal performance said , the visit was to introduce herself as the Acting Chairman of the Union in the state following the recent appointment of the substantive Chairman Comrade Dogo Shammah as Commissioner of Information Culture and Tourism by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule.
She noted that the Former Chairman Hon. Dogo Shammah established a cordial working relationship with the Hospital which according to her would be sustain to ensure harmony between Journalists and the state Specialist Hospital for development to thrive.
Responding, the Chief Medical Director of DASH, Dr. Ikirama Hassan thanked them for the visit and support accorded to Hospital, promised continue support to NUJ and assured that the doors of his office are widely open for NUJ and Journalists for proper Information decimination on the Hospital.
