A monarch in Nasarawa State,, the Sarkin Nunku, HRH Alhaji Adamu Muhammad has urged the family of an army officer, the late Lt. Hamza Sule Buba, who was killed by Boko Haram, as a national sacrifice.
The monarch made the call while paying a condolence visit on the Buba family, in Andaha, Akwanga Local Government Area.
While describing the incidence as sad and unfortunate, considering that the late Lt Hamza was in his prime age, the royal father however urged the family to see the death as a national sacrifice for peace in the country. He then prayed for the repose of Lt Hamza’s soul in aljannat Firdausi.
The traditional ruler was received at the Buba compound by the father and uncles of the fallen hero.
Responding on behalf of the family, a former security adviser in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mohammed Buba, expressed appreciation to the traditional ruler for the visit, and prayed Allah to reward all those that had sympathised with the family.
Alhaji Mohammed recalled the mutual relationship between the Nunku royalty and the Buba family, hoping that it will be sustained for the benefit of society.
