The committee constituted by the chairman of Lafia Local Government, Hon Aminu Muazu Maifata on movement of illegal Motor Parks In Lafia has submitted its report with recommendations that three ( 3 ) designated Parks be created to reduced crowding against the spread of COVID 19 pandemic. the Executive Chairman of Lafia Local Government Council and ALGON Chairman of Nasarawa State ,Hon.Aminu Mu’azu Maifata, concerned to curb the Spread Of the virus has with immediate effects approved the recommendations of the Committee as follows : 1 . That the on the Move Garage should serve as operational park for all commercial vehicles operating within the state .2 That the Central Motor park along Makurdi road should serve as operational park for all commercial vehicles going to Eastern and Southern parts of country .3 . That the Bukan Sidi Motor park along Jos road should serve as operational park for all commercial vehicles going to the Northern part of the country .4. That the Committee should serve as Monitoring Committee to ensure strict compliance to all the adopted recommendations. Similarly, the chairman has called on all commercial Motorists and passengers to take note of this new development and comply accordingly. While appreciating the tireless efforts and contributions by His Excellency , the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr .A . A Sule , Security agencies , NURTW , Mass Transit Union , Traditional and Religion leaders for their support towards curtaining COVID 19 pandemic in Lafia Local Government Area, Hon Aminu Muazu Maifata also enjoined the good people of Nasarawa State to always remember that Health is wealth , COVID 19 is real.
