BY OUR REPORTERThe Chairman Lafia Local Government Area, Hon Aminu Muazu Maifata has described as colossal loss to the people of Lafia and the state at large, the death of Santalin Lafia, late Alhaji Zakari Adamu (Abala) which occurred at the early hours yesterday and buried in Adogi this morning amid thousands of sympathizers who thronged the funeral ground to pay their last respect. Speaking to Nasarawa Eye online Hon Maifata observed that late Alhaji Zakari Adamu has not only contributed to the development of Nasarawa state, but contributed immensely in improving the welfare of the people of the entire Lafia Senatorial district. While describing late Alhaji Zakari Adamu as humble and dedicated individual who impacted positively on the lives of the people particularly the less privileged, Hon Aminu Muazu, stressed that the vacuum which the departure of late Alhaji Zakari Adamu created will not be fill for a very long time to come. Hon Aminu Muazu Maifata prayed to Almighty Allah to reward the soul of late Alhaji Zakari Adamu with Aljanal- fir- daus and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The funeral prayers of late Alhaji Zakari Adamu was attended by the Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, Barr Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu, the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Muhammad Bage (retired) the Andoma of Doma, and Sarkin Kwandere among other top traditional rulers
