We’ll Not Rest Until We Curb Violent Crime In Nasarawa State- Gov Sule

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has vowed that his administration will spare no efforts in tackling violent crimes in the state.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Malam Ibrahim Addra said the governor gave the assurance when he paid a condolence visit to the residence of father of an officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Salisu Usman who was killed along side his Sister Sa’adatu in Gudi, Akwanga Local government area of the state.

According to the statement, Governor Sule prayed Almighty God to grant the souls of the deceased officer and his sister an eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss, also restated the determination of his government to address violent crime in the state, saying that it was in view of this commitment that his government held a meeting last Wednesday with over 70 grade Chiefs along with all heads of security agencies in the state.

The statement indicated that Mr. Labaran Maku a former minister of Information who responded on behalf of the family thanked the governor for the visit and called for sustained efforts to rid the state of criminal elements.
